Outdoor Skating in Whistler Village

Starting in mid-December, the Resort Municipality of Whistler will transform Whistler Olympic Plaza’s Great Lawn and Pavilion into skating rinks for the winter season. Operating daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the heart of Whistler Village, these outdoor rinks offer tremendous views of the surrounding mountains.
Hours of operation for free public skating are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily with exceptions on holidays* or when Olympic Plaza is booked for private functions.
Need Skates? Rentals are available for $5 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and in the evenings at 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
*Holiday Hours:
December 25: 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m.
December 31: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
December 31: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. – open exclusively for First Night Ticket
