WOW -Canadian wins junior bronze
In her first luge race on a European track, Jenna Spencer of Pemberton, B.C., won a bronze medal in the youth division of the junior World Cup on Saturday in Igls, Austria.
Spencer, 15, learned to slide on the Whistler Sliding Centre track and is the first product of the 2010 Olympic host facility to reach a Canadian national team. She had two fifth-place finishes and a fourth in her first three events this year at Park City, Utah and Calgary.
Spencer started the sport four years ago.
