I just wanted to give all the realtors (and any clients or friends) a heads up about our upcoming Home Renovation Seminar. It is scheduled for Saturday November 5^th from 3pm to 5pm in the meeting room at the International Hostel in Cheakamus Crossing.  We will have Debbie Evans of Whistler Interior Design, as well as a representative from CMHC on hand to speak to the design process and to speak about resources available to home (or condo) owners.

  The idea of the seminar is to guide the homeowner through the renovation process, including licensing and permitting, renovation checklists, government incentives and energy retrofits, and hiring a contractor, amongst other topics.

  There will be numerous handouts and opportunities for question and answer throughout the seminar.  This is a free informational seminar, open to everyone, whether you are currently working with a contractor or looking to do your own work.
