Just thought I would pass some info along about a tack shop.

 Everytime I take a trip to Victoria I always make sure to stop at High Horse Tack Shop.

Its located at 5481 Hamsterly Rd. Victoria.    250 658 0011.

It is just off Patricia Bay Highway, near Elk Lake.  (I believe the cross

street is Sayward and it turns into Hamsterly)   Its in an old gas station

(behind the gas station, its a Shell station I think?)   Its a pretty easy

place to find.  You will see the large plastic horse outside the door.  It's jam packed with stuff.  She has so many used saddles stacked up in there (english, Western) its crazy!  (she does consignment) Also lots of blankets,

pads, bridles, boots, girths etc.   I'd say it about 80% used and 20% new or

so.   The owner, Lisa is very nice and I often hang out there for long

periods of time just looking and digging and Lisa puts up with me.  Ha!  Its

great fun.   Also there's a nice beach just down the street, at Elk Lake for

a summer dip too. 

So if you're ever in Victoria and have some time, check it out.
