Whistler Real Estate Co Ltd, #137- 4370 Lorimer Road, Whistler, BC V0N 1B4

I have a wonderful 1st level dressage horse for free lease to the right person.

Edgar is a 13 year old Iberian warmblood (Lippizaner/Hanoverian) 15'3" hands, stocky build with a beautiful Roman Nose.  He has 4 shoes, however can easily go barefoot.  He is an easy keeper and eats local pemberton hay.  He is currently located on Fraser rd. close to town, however he can be moved to wherever.  He gets along with other horses and tolerates being outside fulltime or stalled, he's so easy going.

He is trained in Dressage and has shown at schooling shows in the sea to sky scoring in the mid 60's for training level.  He is an honest guy who will try his best to please you.  He is very respectful and has a kind eye.  A true Noble man, we are schooling second level movements including shoulder-in and introducing counter-canter exercises.

He is for lease as I will be going to apprentice with one of Canada's top dressage trainers, EC level 3 coach Simone Williams, in Navan Ontario.  I will be working towards my certification as a coach, however, unfortunately I will not have the ability to bring Edgar with me.  I am looking for someone who would like to have access to a great horse with access to all my tack and who wants to work on their riding.  I would love for him to gain more experience going out on trail rides to increase his confidence.  We have gone out a handful of times, however on his second time EVER going out, we walked by construction sites with excavators operating, traffic and walked to the pony and he was as mellow as can be.  So long as he knows you are in charge, he just wants to please you.  He is not for the absolute beginner (unless in a proper lesson program) but a confident novice/intermediate rider would definitely benefit from what this guy could teach you.

This will be for the beginning of December until approximately May, however we can always arrange for a longer lease contract if requested.  A good home is priority, I really just want Edgar to be looked after and it could be as simple as leasing him out as a companion horse.

If there is anyone who is at all interested and wants to discuss this opportunity, I am very willing to work something out for all parties.

I look forward to hearing from anyone interested.
