Brown Ledge, now in its 84th season, is known for its riding program, its range and quality of other offered activities; the unusual degrees of autonomy, freedom, responsibility and ownership given staff and campers, as well as its beautiful site and extensive equipment. The camp's mission is to provide young women an opportunity to become empowered and self-directing while building a range of life and activity skills. Job Requirements:
Candidate should have solid experience, including teaching, in Eventing, Hunter/Jumper, and/or Pony Club. Must also be comfortable managing 4-5 person staff and junior counselors, 38 horse stable, lecturing on aspects of horsemanship, horsemastership, stable mgmt., etc.; direct show teams, drill team & mini-CTE; and steward junior riders. Live-in position. Camp is dedicated to strong, independent girls & has a long history of a strong riding program. Ability to communicate & be a positive role model for staff and riders essential.
