This priority request has been made as part of advance planning in case the Hurley FSR has to be used as an evacuation route or supply route if Road 40 becomes impassable. The SLRD has confirmed today that tanker trucks are ready to begin work as soon as approval is received. An update regarding progress on this important community concern will be provided at the Community Information meeting in Gold Bridge to be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2009.
